The MTBD
as the oldest and largest Muaythai professional association, has set itself the task of uniting Muaythai in a fair and sporty way in Germany.
The association has contributed significantly to the good reputation of Muaythai and its popularity in Germany. In addition, he was granted sole representation rights by the IFMA and the WMC in Germany.
The advantages are obvious: admission to the state sports associations and the German Olympic Sports Association, financial support for clubs and athletes and the promotion of young MTBD athletes, who should later become top performers. There are clubs or schools all over Germany that offer Muaythai – Thai boxing. Most of them have already joined the MTBD.
The further work of the association lies in the coordination of Muaythai and K-1 events. He is also available to the promoters and clubs to help with their planning and implementation.
We also take the training assignment in Muaythai very seriously. The MTBD has a well-structured training for trainers, judges and khan examiners.
All Muaythai athletes in Germany should be able to benefit from this. Our motto: "Wherever it says muaythai (or Thai boxing) on it, it has to say muaythai!"
Goals:
Inclusion of the Muaythai state associations in the state sports federations
Admission of the MTBD to the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB)
ONE WORLD-ONE MUAYTHAI
This is the slogan of the World Muaythai Council (WMC) and the Muaythai Bund Germany (MTBD).
Only together can we achieve goals and only together are we strong.

The MTBD also looks back on a moving history.
Recent developments in the field of youth are particularly impressive .
A well-structured development in the promotion of young talent has already led to impressive successes in the junior classes.
All over the world you can already see remarkable achievements at a high level among young martial artists.
This work is now to be expanded. And otherwise the development in the MTBD does not stand still.
