sports offers

muai thai

  • Muaythai is a competitive sport, which also offers a realistic form of self-defense (Pongkan Tua) and a great fitness program. The use of knee and elbow techniques in particular also enables women to successfully defend themselves against an attacker.

Krabi Krabong

  • Krabi Krabong is an ancient Thai martial art and is closely linked to the history of Muaythai.
The techniques of Krabbi Krabong can be divided into two themes:

  • 1. Shapes:

  • Various attack and defense moves are linked and performed to the rhythm of the music. The practitioner learns to use the different weapons by practicing these forms. There are twelve forms for each of the four main weapons:

  • crab

  • Form with two swords

  • Form with Ngaaw (Long Lance)

  • Form with Plawng (long stick)

  • The student must practice the forms until he is sufficiently prepared to practice the martial arts. These forms can be combined during wai kruu, prior to any performance of the art.

  • 2. Combat Techniques

  • In the Krabbi Krabong the different attacks and defenses are given. However, with increasing skill, the student can modify these techniques to suit his personality and thus make them more effective in real combat.

Combat Krabi Krabong:

  • Combat Krabi Krabong is performed competitively with soft sticks, but the basic aspects of the old martial art Krabi Krabong are not neglected.

Muay Boran

  • Muay Boran is the ancient martial art of the Thai people, which is very comprehensive. The Muaythai Bund Deutschland (MTBD) makes sure that only well-known and recognized masters of this ancient art teach in Germany.

Nuat Phaen Thai

  • The traditional Thai massage - Nuat Phaen Thai - is becoming more and more important in Germany. This not only applies to prospective Muaythai trainers, for whom a Nuat Phaen Thai basic course is part of their trainer training, but also especially to people who have postural problems caused by their work or have tension in the back muscles.

  • Nuat Phaen Thai is an ancient Thai art that involves acupressure and stretching. In ancient times in Thailand, when a student was accepted by a martial arts master, the master would not only teach him how to use martial arts to harm a body, but also how to keep the body healthy, including Thai herbal ointments and Nuat Phaen Thai techniques. The positive effect of traditional Thai massage on the human body is undisputed today.

The Muaythai Bund Deutschland (MTBD) offers serious basic training in Nuat Phaen Thai. Basic courses are constantly being offered, qualified teachers from Thailand are invited or groups of interested people from the MTBD fly to Thailand for further training.
