The World Games 2022 on TV


Just three weeks before the start of The 2022 World Games on 7th July, it is already clear that TV stations in over 60 countries will broadcast images from the competitions in Birmingham, Alabama. And the media rights marketing company ISB in Spain, which negotiates the TV rights on behalf of the International World Games Association, is convinced that further contracts will be concluded with major channels, for https://www.theworldgames.org/news/The-World-Games-2022-32/The-World-Games-2022-on-TV-2286instance with a German and a Chinese channel, in the coming days.


In the USA, the Organising Committee in Birmingham was able to award the TV rights to CBS. In addition, the multisport event with 3,600 athletes from 108 countries can be followed in the host country via the streaming platform Olympic.org.



The World Games is a multi-sport event staged every four years by the International World Games Association, organised with the support of the International Olympic Committee. The 11th edition of The World Games will be held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, 7-17 July 2022. 3,600 athletes from 34 sports and over 100 countries will take part in The World Games.
